Just a few pictures from the zoo.  We had a great time of course.  Marian loved the petting zoo the most.

Here are a few photos of our Easter celebration.  The first few take place at Irvine Park Railroad on Marian’s actual birthday.

Nanny got in on the action!

Marian’s face when she saw the Easter Bunny.  She loved him!

She loved hunting for eggs.

She especially loved eating her candy.  It was her first and last of this sticky variety.

Wow, she didn’t even flinch when we put her on the Easter Bunny’s lap.

Marian made a giant cookie.  Daddy had no problem helping her eat it.

These last two are just a couple from the Easter Egg hunt we had on Easter Sunday.  The Easter Bunny is very busy you know.

It’s Been A Long Time

July 25th, 2011 Posted in Uncategorized

Wow, it’s really been a long time since I’ve posted anything here.  I’ll just post a few from the past couple months an hopefully start posting more frequently.  I finally found our memory card so I have pictures from our visit to the San Diego Zoo and  our Easter Celebration.

Our first day at Papa and Nanny’s was relaxing.  Marian loves to feed the fish.

We made a plan to visit with Aunt Cindy and Cousin Emi before Marian’s big party.  We went to Chuck E. Cheese and had a great time.

Marian loves Chuck E. Cheese now.  We with Aunt Cindy and Emi Rose could come play at the Chuck E. Cheese here!

Next came Marian’s birthday party.  She had such a wonderful time and I am so thankful to all the people that came and made it such fun.

So, there is her birthday party! Easter post coming up next.

Beach Day

May 11th, 2011 Posted in Uncategorized

We took an impromptu trip to the beach on April 6.  Will took pity on Marian and me and put down his work to have some family time.  Although it was very chilly, we had a great time!  Marian still loves it and we are looking forward to warmer beach days in the future.

We also went to the Azalea Festival at some point last month.  It was fun too!  Here are a few pictures of the parade.  It was the longest parade I have ever seen with hundreds of pageant winners.  Not the most exciting parade but there were lots of horses and Marian loved it!

Marian was very excited to see this float. “BURGERS!” Uh oh.

We really love it here in Wilmington!  I’ll update again soon with pictures of our trip to California.

Hi there.

I am looking forward to posting more updates as soon as I can.  After my computer was stolen and I lost all of my precious pictures and videos of my baby, I lost some steam.  Then, to top it all off, I took the memory card out of my camera to make sure that didn’t get stolen on our trip home, and somehow lost it before I got a chance to unload it onto our new computer.

We had lots of fun on our California trip.  I will be able to share a lot of it here but our awesome trip to the zoo was on that memory card, along with who knows what else.  Hope you all back up EVERYTHING!

Fun With Kayleigh

March 21st, 2011 Posted in Uncategorized

A couple days ago we had a really fun time with Stephanie and Kayleigh. It was the first time Marian really played with Kayleigh and didn’t run away from her.

Here is Marian waiting to ride her “bicycle” with Kayleigh.

Yay! Finally, they’re here!

First it was time to feed the birds.

Stephanie and Kayleigh brought plenty of bread.

Kayleigh can pedal all by herself.

Kayleigh made angels in the leaves.

After some hugs and plenty of pats, it was time to go home.

On a Sunny Warm Day in February

February 3rd, 2011 Posted in Uncategorized

We were so excited to have the warm weather today.  It’s supposed to be cold again tomorrow, so we enjoyed our afternoon outside to the fullest.

We like to watch all the birds at Greenfield lake.  They are persistent!

Hungry little fellas. (Check out all of Marian’s hair!)

Yikes!  We don’t have any food!

Marian really enjoyed running around and exploring.  In the picture above, she had discovered some ants.  “Cute ants!” she exclaimed.

It took me forever to get her to smile here.  I am getting used to running around and acting foolish in public now to get a little smile.  She always looks so serious!

She likes to get very dirty in the sand and then come over to me and wipe her hands on my pants.

What is up with this picture.  She looks sassy.

This is her epiphany face.

Wow, that is a lot of pictures. I guess I’m trying to make up for my lack of updates.
