Wonderful Sunday

June 28th, 2010 Posted in Uncategorized

After a very hectic night that involved watching Elmo at 10:00 PM, I woke up in a great mood.  I was feeling much better!  We started off the day with cinnamon rolls, well, I didn’t want any but Mama and Daddy enjoyed theirs.  Then well all went out running together.  Daddy reached his goal of a 9 minute mile and Mama and I went 3 miles in the blazing sun.  After my nap we all took a walk to the park.

It was beautiful today!

Hey, what is that down there?

Daddy took me down to see the water.  I wanted to get in!

We found some shade to sit in.  I enjoyed crawling around in the grass and picking it.

You want some?

Then I took Mama on a little walk.  Yes, I do know how to walk by myself.  I would rather hold onto Mama’s hand though.  I can’t be bothered to concentrate on balancing this huge head of mine when there is so much to look at!

Daddy took me to the sand box.  I didn’t eat any of it.

Hey, what’s that over there under the bridge?

Yes, it is a deer.  I guess she was trying to stay cool.  She didn’t scare easy either!

The picture above was behind us.

This is what it looked like in front of us.  The clouds are rolling in.  Get ready for some rain!

Is it time to go back outside yet?

We ended the day with dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings with Daddy’s friend Andy.  It was a fun day!

Fun After Dinner

June 26th, 2010 Posted in Uncategorized

After dinner it was time to play!  We are trying out a later bedtime.

I’m sticking out my tongue a lot today.  Mama thinks it’s pretty funny.

I did a lot of screeching and clapping.

I reminded Mama one of the many reasons we cannot have a cat.

I played with Daddy and my pal Violet (a Christmas gift from Aunt Cindy, Uncle Aaron, and cousin Emi).  I was getting really tired and it was finally time to take my bath and go to bed.  Good Night!

Something To Do

June 25th, 2010 Posted in Uncategorized

I finally found something to entertain myself while Mama cleans the kitchen.

Now if Mama can just put down the camera, she might get something done!

We went for a walk and this is what Mama saw after she rolled me through the door.  I just love my toes.

I like to peer out the window and watch all the people bike and jog by.  I will miss this awesome trail.  Hope we can find another in Wilmington!

Feeling Better

June 24th, 2010 Posted in Uncategorized

I was sick yesterday but I’m feeling a lot better today.  I still don’t have much of an appetite but at least I’ve stopped the crying.

I’ve started to hug all my favorite toys.

I even gave Baby here a smooch.

Hello Violet!  You wanna snuggle?

I finally took a bite of a cracker.  Mama had no idea what I would eat.

Daddy is very talented.  He can work and hold me at the same time.  Welcome to easy street Mama!

Random Things and Walking

June 18th, 2010 Posted in Uncategorized

This little bunny likes to eat right next to our patio.  Cute!

I now like to put things on my head and see how long I can keep them there.

Mama didn’t expect that I would walk by myself while she was making dinner.  I haven’t been walking much so when I decided to stand in the kitchen and take a stroll, Mama ran and got the camera.  Please ignore my shirtless and dishevelled appearance.  I was not expecting to get my photograph taken.  Finally some pictures of me walking!

That stuff really isn’t on the floor either.  My Mama sweeps 3 times a day.

I did not like my apricot.

I did like my dirty bath water straight from the bath toy.

Since We’ve Been Home

June 12th, 2010 Posted in Uncategorized

We’ve been home for a week and a half now.  Nothing exciting has happened but I thought I’d share a few pictures.

I still love playing with my instruments.  Especially the shakers from Amy, Ray, Izzy, and June!

I mastered clapping while lounging.

I played outside in the grass until we happened upon a snake.

I figured out how to get on my riding toy by myself.  I was very proud.

This is what is outside our door.  Can you believe it?  Spring has really brought out the beauty in this little preserve.

I cruised around joyfully.  I did make about 5 steps all by myself a few days ago but I’ve refused to do it since.  I still stand on my own a lot though!

I also had a chance to play with Daddy which is one of my favorite things to do.
